I want to let you know how much I appreciate my Chameleon Inserts. I own one each in the medium, large, and extra large sizes, and I have been using them daily for about two years. Even though the fabric is quite light, it is sturdy and durable (I am a very punishing user), and I love having so many compartments, open and zippered, of different sizes. I also love not having to use a wallet, since I can store money, cards, and change in the Takeaway purse.
There are so many bags on the market that are lovely but have no compartments, and, therefore, I stayed away from using them. I carry a lot of stuff, and an open, single-compartment bag wold be impossible for me. Now I can purchase those bags, knowing that my Chameleon inserts will help me to organize them.
I am an avid writer and journalizer and therefore carry several pens with me. The occupational hazard for any writer is getting stains from ballpoint pens all over everything. A few days ago I discovered several very dark, wide, heavy blotted stains on my large, red Chameleon insert. Each stain was about the diameter of a nickel, fully saturated, and they all bled through to the inside of the organizer. The stains were quite shockingly ugly, and I felt quite disheartened. It was quite a mess.
You may be happy to know that, by using hairspray and Shout fabric treatment, I was able almost completely to remove the ballpoint stains. I saturated the stains with hairspray and allowed them to bleed onto paper towels that I held on the opposite side of the fabric. I applied the hairspray copiously several times, letting the fabric sit for about 10-15 minutes after each treatment. I then sprayed Shout pre-wash laundry treatment all over the stained areas and washed the organizer in the washing machine, delicate cycle. I threw some dark pants and underwear into the wash as well.
I am happy to report that my organizer looks like new. Perhaps later I will send a photo so that you can see how beautiful it looks! I do wish that I had taken “before” photos so that you could see how bad the stains were and how effective the hairspray-Shout treatment was. You might want to share this technique with other customers.

I am writing to tell you how thrilled I am that I just received the delivery today with both inserts (one for me and one as a gift to one of my sisters). The purple tall wide is mine and I absolutely LOVE it!! The size and amount of pockets are spot on and perfect for use in my daily work tote (I have several I swap out that are generally the same size). As a commuter, I am now able to hold everything I need. My bag feels lighter in weight because the items are dispersed evenly (and neatly) instead of in a jumbled mess at the bottom of my bag. I couldn’t be happier.

Hi Kathy, I've never sent a reply on a product before, but I have to make an exception. I just received the large handbag insert and it is PERFECT! I am so pleased. I have already tried it on several of my bags and it fits! I purchased a structured one and it is just what I needed to make my slouchy bag look more polished and not so floppy. I can't believe how easy it is to instantly find things that once got lost in the seemingly "bottomless" pit. Now I can actually find my cell phone when it rings. Hi Kathy, Got my purple organizer today right before I was heading out the door to do errands. I reorganized my purse before leaving and I must say it has made quite a difference in only one short afternoon!! I have a new Kathy VanZeeland purse but it is unstructured...everything just falls to the bottom. Love the look of the purse just don't like the interior, until today. I purchased the small structured organizer and when I saw it I thought it was going to be too small. Not so. It does leave a little room near the side of the interior for my prescription sunglasses in their case...perfect. I think I made a wise choice in looking over your website and with my purchase. Hi Kathy, I just got my insert. I'M IN LOVE!!! It's so fun! May I make a small suggestion.....I'd love to have just a couple of the skinny tall pockets, be the height of the bag. I carry a tall skinny hairbrush & a lil taller than normal pen. They don't really fit well in the smaller pockets. PLEASE, don't get me wrong, I will still show my insert off to everyone!! Hi Kathy, I received my chameleon purse organizer and simply love it. Last week I ordered the Pouchee Purse Organizer and was upset because it was just too small. The extra pockets they referred to were credit card slots, and I did not like that one bit, I needed larger pockets like the ones on the chameleon. I went back to the internet and discovered your "Chameleon", and when it arrived I was truly satisified. I'm returning the Pouchee for a full refund immediately.
Your organizer is just what I needed. There is one minor problem, the "cloth hoops" that are to be used to remove it from the purse is just a little too small. I'm having some difficulty getting my fingers in the hoops and pulling the organizer from my purse. On the picture on your website there is a display showing the orange organizer and I noticed there were larger black hoops, but when I received my red organizer the hoops were red and did not appear to be as large.
It would be great if you would add metal "O" rings to enable one to get a better grip to removing the organizer. I'm hoping to locate some of these rings at a hardware store to add to the cloth hoops on the bag.
Overall your purse organizer, to me, is the best on the market. Great Job!!!!!!

Kathy,You have cost me money. Every since I have started using your fantastic product, my "purse wardrobe" has grown because it's so easy to change them now. Before your insert, I just carried a black purse all the time because it was too hard to switch purses. Now, in addition to my black purse, I have a yellow purse, a zebra striped purse, a copper colored purse, a silver purse...you get the picture. Thanks for a great product.

I normally don't send in testimonials, but I absolutely had to send one to you! I just got my Chameleon (in only 3 days!) and it is PERFECT! For my birthday, my sister had given me a custom-made hobo bag from an expensive boutique in Chicago, but it had no inner pockets whatsoever. It's a beautiful bag, but had no function. The Chameleon is exactly what I needed and now my bag is awesome! There's no more digging to the bottom of my bag or taking everything out to find what I need.
